The Chairman of Egor Local Government Area, Hon. Kelvin Eguakun has advised the newly crowned Miss Edo International 2025, Miss Tracy Okodede to be patriotic and uphold the rich heritage of the State.
The Chairman gave the admonition when Miss Tracy Okodede and the organizers of the Edo International beauty pageantry paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Egor Local Government Secretariat.
Hon. Eguakun encouraged Miss Edo to use her crown and platform to serve as a role model for young women in the State, as well as to advocate for drug abuse prevention. Following a warm welcome, the delegates who accompanied Miss Tracy Okodede were received by Council staff.
The Chairman pledged his support, stating that the Local Government will continue to assist Miss Tracy Okodede in obtaining the maximum assistance necessary to propel her to the next level of her career as a representative of the State.
In her response, Miss Tracy Okodede expressed gratitude to the Chairman and Egor Council staff for the unwavering support granted her in the contest to wining the prestigious crown. She pledged to uphold the values of the pageant and serve as a role model to women in Edo State.
Miss Tracy Okodede thereafter called on young women to be dedicated, aspire for greatness and learn to always give back to the Local Government of their origin and the State at large.
